How to Delete a Roblox Account

Last reviewed: October 2026 · Independent guide, not affiliated with Roblox

Roblox account deletion permanently removes the profile, Robux balance, items and creations. Depending on your app version and region, you can request deletion from the account settings, or by submitting a right to erasure / data deletion request through Roblox Support.

Parents can request deletion of a child’s account; Roblox may ask for verification that you’re the parent or guardian.

  • Time required: About 10 minutes to submit
  • What is lost: Robux, items, experiences, friends, username

Before you delete

How to delete your Roblox account

  1. Sign in to Roblox and open Settings (gear icon).
  2. Look under Account Info for a Delete Account option and follow the prompts if available.
  3. If there’s no option, go to Roblox Support’s Contact Us form.
  4. Choose Data Privacy Requests > Right to Erasure (or the account deletion category) and submit with the account username.
  5. Answer Roblox’s verification email to complete the request.

Menus change often. If a button has moved, use the search box in the app's settings or the official help link above.

Alternatives for parents

Roblox’s Parental Controls let you limit chat, spending and experiences, set screen-time limits and link a parent account. That may be enough if you don’t want to lose the child’s progress.
