How to Permanently Delete Your Hinge Account

Hinge account deletion happens in the app’s Account settings. It removes your profile, likes, matches and conversations. Subscriptions such as Hinge+ or HingeX must be cancelled in the App Store or Google Play.

Prefer a break? Pause hides your profile from new people while keeping existing matches.

Before you delete

• Cancel subscriptions in the store you paid through.
• Request your data from Hinge’s privacy settings if you want a copy.
• Save contact info of matches you want to keep in touch with.

How to delete your Hinge account

1. Open Hinge and tap your profile tab.
2. Tap Settings, then Account.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Select a reason and confirm with Delete.

Menus change often. If a button has moved, use the search box in the app's settings or the official help link above.

Pause vs delete

Pausing hides your profile from Discover while keeping your matches and messages. Deleting removes them permanently.
