How to Permanently Delete Your Bumble Account
Last reviewed: October 2026 · Independent guide, not affiliated with Bumble
Bumble lets you delete your account from the app’s settings. Deleting removes your profile, matches and chats. It doesn’t cancel subscriptions bought through Apple or Google — cancel those first.
If you just need time away, Bumble’s Snooze mode hides your profile without losing matches.
At a glance
- Time required: About 2 minutes
- Subscriptions: Cancel in the App Store or Google Play
- What is lost: Profile, matches, chats, Bumble BFF and Bizz connections
- Alternative: Snooze mode
Before you delete
- Cancel Premium or Boost in your app store’s subscription settings.
- Exchange contact details with matches you want to keep.
- Note: deleting covers Bumble Date, BFF and Bizz modes on the same account.
How to delete your Bumble account
- Open Bumble and tap the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon (Settings).
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Choose a reason, then follow the prompts and confirm the deletion.
Menus change often. If a button has moved, use the search box in the app's settings or the official help link above.
Snooze vs delete
Snooze (in Settings) hides your profile for a set time or indefinitely, keeping matches and chats. Deletion removes them permanently.
