eBay calls deletion closing your account. You request it through eBay’s Help pages, and it only goes through once you have no open listings, unpaid fees, open cases or recent unfinished transactions.
After closure your feedback and purchase history are no longer accessible to you. eBay keeps some records for a period to meet legal and fraud-prevention obligations.

Before you delete
- End active listings and wait until open orders are delivered.
- Pay any seller fees and resolve returns, disputes and cases.
- Download records you need, such as sales reports or order history.
- Transfer funds from your payouts balance to your bank.
How to close your eBay account
- Sign in to eBay and open My eBay > Account settings.
- Under Personal info or Account preferences, select Close account (or search eBay Help for “close my account”).
- Follow the prompts. eBay checks for open listings, fees and cases and tells you what to resolve.
- Choose a reason, confirm the closure request and keep the confirmation email.

What happens to my feedback?
Feedback left by and for you is no longer associated with an active profile. If you might sell again, consider keeping the account dormant instead — feedback is hard to rebuild.

Once closure is processed it cannot be reopened. You can register a new account, but your old feedback and history do not transfer.
