Delete Maps Search History
- Open Google Maps and tap your profile picture, then select Settings.
- Tap Maps history to view your search and navigation history.
- Tap the three dots menu in the top-right and select Delete activity by.
- Select All time and tap Next, then Delete to clear your search history.
Delete Location Timeline History
- In Google Maps, tap your profile picture and select Your Timeline.
- Tap the three dots menu and select Settings and privacy.
- Under Location History, tap Delete all Location History.
- Follow the prompts and tap Delete to permanently remove your location timeline.
Turn Off Future Tracking
- Go to myaccount.google.com and click Data & privacy.
- Under History settings, click Location History and turn it off.
- Also turn off Web & App Activity to stop Google from saving your Maps searches.
