How to Permanently Delete Your Zoom Account
Last reviewed: October 2026 · Independent guide, not affiliated with Zoom
Zoom accounts are deleted from the Zoom web portal, not the desktop app. If you are on a paid plan you need to cancel the subscription first. Accounts belonging to a company or school can only be removed by the admin.
Deleting removes your profile, meeting settings, contacts and cloud recordings.
