How to Delete Your X (formerly Twitter) Account in 2025

Before you begin

  • Time required: ~5 minutes
  • Data loss: All tweets, likes, followers and profile information will be removed after 30 days

Steps

  1. On desktop, click More, then select Settings and privacy.
