How to Permanently Delete Your Uber Account

One Uber account covers Uber rides and Uber Eats. When you request deletion, Uber deactivates it immediately and permanently deletes it after 30 days; signing back in during that time restores it.

Before you delete
- Cancel Uber One membership.
- Use up Uber Cash and gift cards — they’re forfeited.

How to delete your Uber account
- Open the Uber app and tap Account.
- Tap Settings, then Privacy.
- Tap Delete account.
- Verify your identity, choose a reason and confirm.
- Stay signed out for 30 days for the deletion to complete.
