How to Delete Stickers on iPhone

Since iOS 17, photos you turn into stickers are saved in a shared Stickers drawer that appears in Messages and on the emoji keyboard. Deleting a sticker there removes it everywhere on your devices signed in with the same Apple Account.

Third-party sticker packs come from apps, so you remove them by deleting or hiding the app.

Update iOS if you don’t see the stickers drawer.

How to delete stickers on iPhone

In Messages, open a conversation, tap + and choose Stickers.
Tap the custom stickers tab (the folded-page icon).
Touch and hold the sticker you want to remove and tap Delete.
To delete several, touch and hold any sticker, choose Rearrange, then tap the minus (–) on each sticker and tap Done.
From other apps, open the emoji keyboard, tap the sticker icon and delete stickers the same way.

Remove a sticker pack

Sticker packs installed from the App Store live in iMessage apps. In Messages tap + > More, swipe left on the app and remove it, or delete the app from your Home Screen.

Delete a sticker you sent

Touch and hold the sticker in the conversation and choose Delete (removes it on your side), or use Undo Send within two minutes for messages you sent via iMessage.

Are deleted stickers permanently removed?

Yes. They are removed from the drawer on all your devices. You can create the sticker again from the photo.

Can I delete third-party sticker packs?

Yes. Remove the iMessage app in Messages or delete the app from your iPhone.

Will deleting stickers affect Memoji or Genmoji?

No. Memoji and Genmoji are managed separately.

Why can’t I see the Delete option?

Make sure you are in the custom stickers tab; built-in Memoji stickers can’t be deleted individually.
